Welcome to opening night of the Rogue Valley Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. This 1920s whodunit has everything you never wanted in a show—an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines). Nevertheless, the accident-prone thespians battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call, with hilarious consequences!

“The Play” doesn’t offer a laugh a minute. Often, it’s nearly a laugh a second.
Opening last weekend at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre in Ashland, the comedy gives playgoers few chances to catch their breath between laughing streaks.
For audiences, the danger might be severe bellyaches from laughing so often and raucously.
Making mayhem look natural, while keeping it safe, is no small job. And the cast was clearly giving its all in this hilarious production.
