Million Dollar Quartet
February 8th - April 15th - Due to demand, we've added four shows - 3/12 8pm, 3/18 8pm, 3/25 8pm, and 3/28 8pm!
The Characters
Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Sam Phillips, Carl Perkins, Jay Perkins, Fluke Holland, Elvis' fictionalized girlfriend Dyanne.
The Cast
Million Dollar Quarter will feature OCT associate artistic director Galloway Stevens as legendary record producer Sam Phillips.
The Story
Million Dollar Quartet brings alive the fateful night when Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins jammed together with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal, and of course the legendary music that made them famous.
The Music
Features hit songs like “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Walk the Line,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Hound Dog,” and “Great Balls of Fire.”
It is so tightly and professionally run that it’s our opinion (and you heard it here first) that “Million Dollar Quartet” is a show that will take the Cabaret Theatre out of their current position as a leading regional venue and bring them towards more national recognition — a venue that will, and should, become as much a part of your annual theater destination calendar as the nearby Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
The vintage rock ‘n’ roll in Oregon Cabaret Theatre’s “Million Dollar Quartet” is enough to bring any house to its feet.
If you're a fan of classic rock 'n' roll — and who isn't — here's a million dollar suggestion: See "Million Dollar Quartet" at the Oregon Cabaret Theatre.
We have season tickets to the cabaret and it never fails to delight! It has shows that play for months that are always well rehearsed and keep us on the edge of our seats in addition to shows for a limited time that always seem to surprise us with the caliber of performers that Ashland, Oregon is able to produce! We will be getting season tickets for the rest of our lives!
