The Story
There’s a new tenant at Armadillo Acres - and she’s wreaking havoc all over Florida’s most exclusive trailer park. When Pippi, the stripper on the run, comes between the Dr. Phil–loving, agoraphobic Jeannie and her tollbooth collector husband—the storms begin to brew.

Valerie is a native of Eugene, OR but has been residing in Ashland and serving as Artistic Director of Oregon Cabaret Theatre for the past six years. Prior OCT credits include Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd, Rosemary Clooney in Girl Singer, Meredith in Bat Boy, and Eddie in Rocky Horror. Other regional performance credits include: Fontine in Les Mis (PCPA Theatrefest), Tanya in Mamma Mia (Stage Works Fresno), Golde in Fiddler on the Roof (Utah Festival Opera), Baker's Wife in Into the Woods (Lucid By Proxy), Maria in the Sound of Music (Summer Repertory Theatre). Valerie holds a MFA Directing - University of California, Irvine. BFA Acting - CalArts.

Preston is a native of Ashland OR and making his first appearance on the Oregon Cabaret stage. Other regional performance credits include Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher, Ensemble in Hairspray, John Webster in Shakespeare in Love [American Debut], Young Herbert/Ensemble in Great Expectations (Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Burger in Hair, Tommy in Radium Girls, William Barfe in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Bud Frump in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (Mountain Ave. Theatre). He would like to say “thank you to Brenda, Robert, And Forrest as well as all my other mentors. I owe you.”

Lauren returns to the OCT stage after appearing in the 2020 season as Gwendolyn Pigeon in The Odd Couple, and Betty in Girl Singer: The Life & Music of Rosemary Clooney. Other regional performances include Francesca in The Bridges of Madison County (Collaborative Theatre Project); Anna #3/ Young Maria in Lend Me a Tenor the Musical (Collaborative Theatre Project); Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde (Morgan-Wixson Theatre); Ulla in The Producers (Morgan-Wixson Theatre).
ASHA BROWNIE-GORDON

Asha returns to the Oregon Cabaret stage. Prior OCT credits include Gina in Beehive the 60s Musical, Gary Coleman in Avenue Q. Other regional performance credits include Oda Mae in Ghost The Musical (Titusville Playhouse); Trix in The Drowsy Chaperone (The Dutch Apple); Trio singer in After Midnight, Paulette in Legally Blonde (Norwegian Cruise Lines); Bertha in Dreamland Drive-in (Dollywood). She holds a BFA Musical Theater from Shorter College in Rome, GA. Asha would like to give “A big ‘thank you’ my family and friends for all of the love and support, and to the Oregon Cabaret Theatre for being such an important home away from home.”

Pippi
is making her Oregon Cabaret debut appearance. She is a native of New York City, NY where she was a two time winner of Apollo Amature Night as well as being ⅓ of the girl group, Menage. Katie is returning to the Oregon Cabaret Theatre after serving as an understudy for the 2020 production of The Odd Couple. She is originally from Redmond, OR. Other regional credits include Elizabeth in If/Then, Baker’s Wife in Into The Woods, Elektra in Elektra, Ethel Rosenberg in Angels In America, Adele Rice in A Man of No Importance (Oregon Center For The Arts); The Night Climber (Ashland New Plays Festival). “Ecstatic to be a part of this season!”
